That review above can be misleading because the brand new fitting allows the use of 510 or 801 stuff on it and with the new V3 Mako head cap and the new v2 Don head cap i can use whatever i want on them it totally rocks!!

This particular fitting came with my megalodon, so I can only attest to its functionality. First of all, it works as it should, which is a godsend in today's ecig market. Second, eGo atty's will NOT fit on this, even though they are of 510 threading, because the cone obstructs the connection between eGo atty and battery connector in the middle of the fitting. However, the 510 fitting allows great connection between batteries and your typical atty's/cartos, just don't expect to use an eGo tank system on it anytime soon
